Goosebumps — Stay Out of the Basement Book Review

I have an early teens horror book review from one of  R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps Series – Stay Out of the Basement.  I hope you enjoy Goosebumps as much as I do.

Goosebumps -- Stay Out of the Basement

Goosebumps — Stay Out of the Basement

In this teen, horror, thriller, we meet the eleven year old, Casey Brewer and his sister Margaret, and their parents.  He and his family that just moved to California due to their father, Michael Brewer’s new job as a botanists at Poly Tech. He was soon  fired from his new job due to his alarming DNA experiments involving plants.  He then pursued his radical experiments in their basement.

The plot is easy to follow. The book is easy to read.

My favorite part is the dramatic ending when Casey’s sister Margaret takes matters into her own hands, literally.

The Goosebumps Series is an excellent set of young horror books that will keep the reader spellbound.  I read this  series as well as many others every day  just for fun.

Until we talk again.
